The Monson Room measures 12.65m by 11.15m and adjoins the Simpkins Lee Theatre. It is ideally situated as a refreshment space for large conferences, and for poster board and networking sessions. The room can accommodate 150 guests in a reception style. French windows open onto a grassy quad, where garden furniture can be set out to allow guests to sit outside during refreshment breaks. End of day drinks receptions can also be held in the Monson Room. The room can be partitioned to create two separate spaces, around 12.65 x 5.5m each. This arrangement is particularly useful for events which start with a meeting, before progressing to a drinks reception or dinner.  The room is equipped with its own kitchen, so our Chefs and catering team can provide a private, fine dining experience in this expansive, but warmly atmospheric room. During student vacations, en suite accommodation is available in the same block as the Monson Room.
