A delightful room in the Oxford tradition

The Committee Room is where the Officers and Fellows of Lady Margaret Hall meet to conduct most of their meetings. Tall sash windows give a view of the Fellows' Lawn, with its backdrop of copper beech and mature trees. This is a warmly atmospheric room, redolent of Oxford tradition but small enough for convivial dining. It is perfect for private dining and for meetings which require a special setting.

The Committee room measures 8.4m by 4.8m. The highly polished wooden table, which comfortably seats 18 for private dining, is a permanent fixture in the room and so this room is only available in a boardroom set up, although drinks receptions can be held with the table in situ. The Committee Room is reached via a corridor lined with portraits of College alumni from the past 140 years and is conveniently located close to the Dining Hall.
